New Player Protection
New tribes get breathing room. While New Player Protection (NPP) is on, other players can’t damage your structures at all — 100% blocked — until a tribe member hits level 50 or 240 hours (10 days) pass, whichever comes first. You get time to build up before PvP finds you.
How It Works
Section titled “How It Works”Protection is automatic from the moment you start. It ends when the first of these happens:
- A tribe member reaches level 50
- 240 hours (10 days) pass
- You turn it off yourself
Wild dinos (and corrupted dinos) can’t damage your structures while protected either.
End It Early
Section titled “End It Early”/nppoff
Turns off your protection before it runs out. Only the tribe owner can do this.
Example: ready to fight at level 40? Tribe owner types /nppoff and you’re live.
Costs: free.
Good to Know
Section titled “Good to Know”- Protection works both ways — while protected, you can’t attack other tribes’ structures either (campfires and sleeping bags excepted).
- Once it’s off, it’s off. There’s no turning it back on.
- Hit level 50 mid-build? Protection ends — plan your base before you level.
