Raid Flag
When another tribe does real damage to your base, your whole tribe gets raid-flagged. A buff icon and a countdown timer pop up on your screen. The flag doesn’t hurt you — it just locks a few things for a short while so nobody can wriggle out of a raid by hiding their loot or running away. If someone’s raiding you, you fight it out — you can’t cheat your way clear.
What Raid-Flags You
Section titled “What Raid-Flags You”- Your base takes real damage from another tribe — walls, structures or dinos getting hurt or destroyed.
- Soaking turrets counts too. The tribe eating the bullets gets flagged even if nothing breaks — you can’t just tank the turrets and stroll away clean.
What’s Blocked While You’re Flagged
Section titled “What’s Blocked While You’re Flagged”While the flag is up, these are switched off for your tribe:
| Blocked | Why |
|---|---|
| Shop, kit and sell commands | No buying your way out of a raid |
| Transfers — uploading and downloading | You can’t stash your gear on another map |
| Tek teleporters, transmitters and replicators | No teleporting your stuff (or yourself) to safety — you also can’t place or pick up tek floors |
| Mass-dropping (popcorning) your loot | No dumping all your boxes so the raiders get nothing |
The idea is simple: a raid should be fought, not dodged.
The Timer and Its Restrictions
Section titled “The Timer and Its Restrictions”- The flag runs on a 10-minute timer. It clears 10 minutes after the damage stops.
- Every new hit resets the timer back to the full 10 minutes — so while a raid is actually happening, you stay flagged the whole time and the clock only starts counting down once the hits stop.
- All the blocks above — shop, transfers, tek and popcorning — stay switched off for the entire time the timer is running.
- You can’t add or remove your ORP unit while the timer is up either.
- Check how long you’ve got left any time with
/raid.
The Penalty for Logging Off
Section titled “The Penalty for Logging Off”Logging off while you’re raid-flagged does not get you out of it — it makes things worse:
- Normally your Offline Raid Protection switches on 60 minutes after your last tribe member logs off.
- But if your tribe is raid-flagged at the moment you log off, that’s delayed by an extra 90 minutes — so your base sits unprotected for about 150 minutes (2.5 hours) instead of one.
- The flag itself doesn’t clear when you leave, and your tribe log records that you logged off mid-raid.
Fighting in the Open
Section titled “Fighting in the Open”Hitting another player out in the world (not their base) puts a World PvP flag on both of you. It has the same blocks — shop, transfers, teleporters — but it’s much shorter: it lasts 30 seconds and each new hit resets it. You can’t tap someone and sprint to the obelisk to escape.

Good to Know
Section titled “Good to Know”- The raid flag is about fair fights — it stops raids being dodged, it doesn’t make you weaker.
- Your tribe log records the damage, so you can see exactly what happened and when.
- Full details on staying safe while offline are on the Offline Raid Protection page.
