Name Rules

Names on the cluster are checked automatically — players, tribes, dinos and named structures all go through the same filter.

The Rules

• Player names are unique. If someone on the cluster already has your name, you’ll be asked to pick another.
• Keep it clean. Offensive names get blocked — you’ll see “that name is not allowed” and have to pick again.
• Letters, numbers, spaces and [ ] - _ ' only. Fancy symbols and special characters get blocked.
• 30 characters max.

Signs and Notes

Text on signs and notes is checked too — same language filter, with a 300 character limit. Anything over the line gets replaced automatically.

Good to Know

• The same rules apply to tribe names, dino names and structure names — everything visible to other players.
